Proper Gear for Learning:
1. Footwear
2. Safety gear
3. Care and Maintenance
Softrucks are made from the same materials as skate wheels. Just like your wheels, Softrucks eventually wear down and loose the snappyness. There are a few things you can do to take care of your Softrucks in order to prolong their life.
Tip 1. Periodically check you hardware to make sure it's tight but do not overtighten. The hardware should be just snug enough so the Softrucks can't move or shift on the deck.
Tip 2. Always keep your Softrucks free from dirt or grit. Try not to let pebbles or rocks get embedded in the contact surface of your Softrucks.
Tip 3. Never let oils or solvents come in contact with your Softrucks. Chemicals can be damaging to the urethane material. Soap and water is all you need if you want to keep them clean.
